Known by the title of "the artist of the Western highlands' jungles", Trung Nghia, born in 1981, has spent most of his professional time portraying beauty with his paintbrush and special connection to the land. After several years of ups and downs, his paintings deliver his pride and distinction, but still retain their sense of humanity.
The exclusive characteristic of Trung Nghia's artworks is his use of challenging sources of inspiration, which are the Western highlands' smoke, fire, dynamite and soil. When questioned about this choice, he said: "It has something to do with my destiny. Besides, I want to use things that destroy the environment to create pieces of art in order to raise the awareness of people about human activities that endanger animals and the ecosystem".
His paintings are the creation of arts that conveys a strong message of nature.
